OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The winner goes home with $500 at Southern Iowa Speedway’s
inaugural Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod special Wednesday, May 16 sponsored by Supreme Lawn & Landscape.
The draw/redraw show pays a minimum of $75 to start and there is a $25 entry
fee. Cars will be stopped on the frontstretch for a five-minute pit stop at
halfway.
Edal Lawn Care Stock Car King of the Hill will be on tap with IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. IMCA Speedway Motors
Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State and local track
points will be awarded in all five sanctioned divisions.
Pit gates open at 5 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m., hot laps are at 7
p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
Spectator admission is $9 for adults, $5 for students and free for kids six
and under. It’s Fremont/Cedar Night at SIS so adults from that community can get
grandstand seating for $5. Pit passes are $22. |
